Cancellation Policy

Voice and Music Education Policy Lesson Scheduling & Booking - Lessons can be booked up to 31 days in advance. - Requests within 48 hours of the desired time are not guaranteed. - Lessons missed due to teacher absence or illness will be rescheduled at no cost. - Teacher may cancel or reschedule lessons up to 48 hours in advance with notice. Cancellation & Rescheduling - Cancellations must be made more than 48 hours in advance. - 24–48 hours: 20% fee - Within 24 hours: 40% fee - More than 3 cancellations in 6 months may result in denied future bookings. - Rescheduling or fee waivers may be allowed under special circumstances. Payment & Materials - Payment is charged immediately following each lesson unless otherwise agreed. - All learning materials provided are included unless noted otherwise. Code of Conduct - Zero-tolerance for harassment, discrimination, or unacceptable behaviour. - Violations may result in immediate lesson termination without refund. - Lessons are conducted in a safe, professional, and supportive environment. Student Responsibilities - Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to engage. - Practice regularly outside of lessons. - Communicate any schedule changes promptly. Teacher Responsibilities - Provide safe, high-quality instruction tailored to each student. - Offer guidance to develop technique, musicianship, and confidence. Privacy & Communication - Student information is confidential and used only for lesson purposes. - All communications should remain professional and courteous. Liability - Teacher is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage during lessons except in cases of negligence. - Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising minors outside lesson times. Amendments - Policy may be updated at any time; changes will be communicated in advance.
